WINspeed DSL Internet service requires a $50 installation fee, 12 month contract and the option of leasing ($5/mo) or purchasing a WINspeed modem. WINspeed DSL is based on ADSL2+ technology. WINspeed DSL allows a connection of up to 256K or 1MB. Rates and speed may vary depending upon location of customer and equipment used.

WINspeed DSL Hardware

You will be required to use a WINspeed DSL modem to connect to the WINspeed DSL service. WINspeed DSL modems provide superior simultaneous voice and high-speed data access based on ADSL2+ technology. All modems include one built in phone filter, plus one in-line or wall-mount filter.
You now have the option of leasing or purchasing your modem from WIN.

Once you have WINspeed DSL, it is very important to contact our Customer Service department if you ever replace or change your computer/router equipment. Please read this very important notice.

WINspeed DSL setup

There is a one time installation charge, in which our technician's will bring the modem to your home or place of business and install everything. There is also a set up fee for any new Internet customer (this would not include a customer upgrading from dial-up to high speed Internet).

ADSL2+ Technology

WINspeed DSL is now based on the next generation DSL, ADSL2+ (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line). ADSL enables Internet access over the telephone network and is a worldwide telecom industry standard. The ADSL2+ supports VoIP technology, increases speeds and doubles downstream bandwidth for shorter length phone lines. Speeds of up to 1MB are now a reality.
