Western Iowa Networks provides advanced calling features to all residential and business customers where WIN local telephone service is available. These features include several options that make using your phone service easier. Advanced calling features can help you customize your service to meet your individual household needs. For example, a residence receiving many phone calls at the same time can subscribe to the feature of call waiting. Click on the left column to retrieve a pop-up window with detailed information on how to use each feature.

Anonymous Call Rejection	Rejects calls from numbers that have Caller ID Block enabled. The caller will receive a message that you are not receiving calls from numbers that have been blocked.
Automatic Recall	Provides you with the phone number of the last person who called you and gives you the option to call him/her back.
Call Forward	Enables you to automatically forward calls from your telephone to another phone number of your choice.
Call Forward Busy	Lets you forward incoming calls to another phone number automatically if you are on the phone or busy on the internet. This option is available in Breda, Westside and Lidderdale only.
Call Forward No Answer	Enables you to forward your calls to another phone number and determine how many rings before it forwards.
Call Trace	Enables you to trace your last incoming call. Traced information will be provided to authorities, if you choose.
Caller ID	With Caller ID service, the phone number of the person calling you will appear in the phone's display or on your Caller ID box. Please note, some phone numbers are blocked and the message "Number is Restricted" will appear.
Caller ID Block	Keeps all outgoing calls anonymous by preventing the listing of your information on the Caller ID display of the person you are calling.
Call Waiting	Enables you to answer incoming calls while you are already engaged on another call. You can also place a call on hold and transfer back and forth between the two.
Continuous Redial	Automatically calls back a busy number for up to 30 minutes. Very helpful when trying to reach a one-line household that is on the Internet.
Remote Call Forwarding	Forward all calls to another predetermined long distance number.
Selective Call Rejection	Automatically block a list of phone numbers that you program into your phone.
Distinctive Ring	Also called Teen Service, gives you a second phone number with a different ring while still using a single phone line.
30 Number Speed Calling	You can program up to 30 numbers into your phone with two digit dialing.
3-Way Calling	Allows you to add a third party to an existing phone call.

Low Income Assistance	Two programs are available to qualified customers to help reduce the cost of telephone installation and/or monthly service. Click Here for more information.
Preferred Carrier Freeze	This FREE service prevents unauthorized switching or 'slamming' of your long distance service. Slamming is a technique some providers use to change your long distance carrier just to collect money on the fees associated with switching. Click Here for more information.
Non-Published Service	You may choose to have your name and number unlisted for a charge of 50¢ per month.
900-Number Block	This FREE service will prevent your phone from making direct calls to a 900 number. Though this service is very helpful in preventing these types of calls from being placed directly, it may not block all numbers.
3rd Party Blocking	This FREE service will prevent anyone from making a long distance call from another location (such as a pay phone) and billing it to your home phone.
Collect Call Block	This FREE service will prevent anyone from making collect calls that would be billed to your home phone. With this enabled, nobody can call your phone number collect.
