There are more choices than ever when it comes to home entertainment. But only cable connects you to the best programming and your favorite local channels for just pennies a day. And when you consider there's no equipment to buy or long term contracts, the savings get better all the time.

But just because you're not spending a lot...doesn't mean you're not getting a lot. Cable delivers a wide variety of programming, including award winning documentaries, children's shows, 24 hours news and weather, along with crystal clear reception on all your favorite local channels. In fact, it's hard to find a wider variety of programming for less. Add it all up and cable television is still one of the best entertainment values in town.

There's never been a better time than now to subscribe to Western Iowa Network's premium channel options such as HBO, Showtime, TMC and Cinemax. Premium channel options will vary in each WIN service area. So, be sure to ask our friendly customer service staff which channel is available for your viewing pleasure.

Important Information About Digital TV

After Feb 17, 2009, a television receiver with only an analog broadcast tuner will require a converter box to receive full power over-the-air broadcasts with an antenna because of the Nation's transition to digital broadcasting.

Analog-only TVs should continue to work to receive low power, Class A or translator television stations and with cable and satellite TV services, gaming consoles, VCRs, DVD players and similar products.

The transition should have no impact on your access to cable TV service. Analog-only television sets not connected to a cable or satellite service may require additional equipment (such as a digital-to-analog converter box) or may need to be replaced.

Information about the DTV transition is available from www.DTV.gov or from Western Iowa Networks at 888-508-2946, and from www.dtv2009.gov or 1-888-DTV-2009 for information about subsidized coupons for digital-to-analog converter boxes.
