As a Sales Consultant you will provide excellent customer service to our cellular customer base. You will be responsible for keeping our customers connected with the latest and greatest cellular phones, connected devices and plans. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting the company’s cellular services provided and related technology.

Combination Technician
Breda Telephone Corporation d/b/a Western Iowa Networks is looking for a full-time Combination Technician reporting to the Pacific Junction, Iowa location.
Responsibilities include:
- Install and support voice and data services provided by the company.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of WAN and LAN.
- Installation, configuration of Key system (KSU) and Hosted Telephone Systems (PBX)
- Fiber splicing and repair organizations cable plant facilities.
- Report and perform work as directed by the Outside Plant Manager in a safe and timely manner.
- Complete service order and trouble tickets accurately in OSS/BSS software daily.
Experience/Skills:
- Telephone System (KSU), Hosted Solutions and Voice Over IP (VOIP) installation and maintenance preferred
- Installation and maintenance of Ethernet Internet Products or Broadband Services preferred
- FTTH experience is preferred
- Fiber splicing experience is preferred
- Experience working with fiber test equipment (OTDR, light and power meters) is preferred
- Individual needs to be very customer oriented
- Computer experience is critical
Additional Information:
- Individual would be required to be on call nights, weekends and holidays on a rotation basis with other employees
- Ability to travel to all company service areas that could include overnight stays.

Construction Technician
Breda Telephone Corporation d/b/a Western Iowa Networks is looking for a full-time Construction Technician for their Carroll, IA operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Places buried fiber optic cable or duct systems using plowing, digging, trenching, and boring equipment.
- Construction and maintenance of new and existing fiber cable facilities.
- Must be able to use backhoe, direction boring, trenching, and plowing equipment, mini-excavator and hand tools for construction, cleanup, and restoration.
- Locate and expose existing underground fiber and cable plant facilities and identify other utilities after they have been located.
- Hand dig around existing utilities when necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment being used.
- Keep up to date on County, City, and State permit requirements.
- Keep County, City, and State officials up to date on plant construction.
- Read communication prints, maps, and staking sheets for placing fiber, copper cable, or underground conduit.
Experience/Skills:
- Backhoe, directional drill, trencher, vibratory plow, and mini-excavator operation experience is preferred.
- Fiber splicing experience beneficial
- Individual needs to be very customer oriented.
- Computer experience preferred.
